Museum Repository

The Museum Repository is a unique building in the Baltics that meets the highest security and storage requirements of museum values, where more than two million items of the National Museum’s collection are stored, documented, restored and exhibited.

The museum repositories consist not only of the repositories of four museum collections, restoration work rooms, warehouses and other technical rooms, but also of separate office premises for each museum. The office and work premises have high and wide windows overlooking the nearby Dzegužkalns, as well as the richly greened, landscaped and freely accessible territory of the building.
