The SURF office chair has a synchro mechanism that moves the seat and backrest in coordination. This allows more dynamic sitting and makes it easy to change position during the workday.
The mechanism lets you adjust the backrest tension to suit the user’s weight and personal preferences. Depending on the mechanism version, the backrest can be locked in set positions or its recline can be limited.
The seat height is adjusted with a gas lift, so it can be matched to the desk height and the user’s height.
The ergonomic design of SURF lets the chair be adjusted for users of different heights and body proportions.
The lumbar support built into the backrest is height-adjustable, providing extra support for the lower back. The breathable mesh backrest promotes air circulation and helps you stay comfortable even during long periods of sitting.
Seat depth adjustment lets you position the seat to suit your leg length and preferred sitting posture. The soft, upholstered seat provides pleasant support during everyday work.
SURF is available with a choice of adjustable armrests, including 2D and 3D versions.
Depending on the configuration, you can adjust the armrest height, width and the forward or backward position of the armpad.
Properly adjusted armrests make it easier to rest your forearms while working and help reduce unnecessary strain on the shoulders.
The chair has a five-star base with casters. Various base materials and caster options are available for both hard floors and carpeted surfaces.
The main visual feature of SURF is its specially shaped backrest, whose silhouette recalls a windsurfing sail. This design element gives the chair a light, dynamic and recognizable character.
The backrest mesh is available in a variety of colors, so you can create single-color or contrasting combinations with the chair frame and seat fabric.
The chair frame can be ordered in black or white. A choice of five-star bases is also available, including plastic and polished aluminum versions.
A wide range of seat fabrics and colors lets you adapt SURF to many interiors, from neutral individual workstations to bright, creative offices.
