BASKET was inspired by traditional hooded beach chairs with their enveloping shape. The high backrest and rounded forms create a cozy, visually sheltered seat that is perfect for relaxing and informal conversations.
The chair was created in 2011 by designer Matthias Demacker. Its distinctive silhouette combines original design with comfort, making BASKET an eye-catching element in any interior.
The BASKET swivel mechanism offers freedom of movement and lets you easily change direction without moving the chair.
The high backrest and soft upholstery create a comfortable, enveloping seat. The chair works well for individual relaxation as well as informal meeting and conversation areas.
BASKET is part of a modular furniture collection that includes lounge chairs, sofas and poufs. The collection offers models with two backrest heights, as well as chairs with a swivel or fixed base.
The various pieces in the collection can be combined to create custom lounge and conversation areas. BASKET poufs can be used as footrests or small side tables.
BASKET is available in a wide range of upholstery fabrics and colors, so the chair can be adapted to different interior concepts, from calm, neutral tones to bright design accents.
The chair covers can be dry cleaned according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Additional covers are also available, making it easy to refresh the chair or change its color and fabric.
