Our task at THOMSON Furniture was to find office furniture that not only blends with the look of the manufacturer’s products but also delivers the highest level of ergonomics and practicality for everyday work.

Ergonomics and Individuality: Well-Planned Solutions for Employee Well-Being

When planning the shared and individual work areas, the main focus was on employees’ needs and ergonomic zoning, an essential part of today’s hybrid working trends. To make the most of the usable floor space, one wall of the office was given over entirely to a built-in storage system. The white cabinets with warm oak accents create a refined contrast against the dark green wall while keeping the room visually light and stable (the center of gravity is planned in the middle section of the units).

Smart Storage and Adjustable Work Surfaces

To support focus and keep things tidy, each workstation was fitted with practical, mobile solutions:

• BOXI tall pedestals: They serve as personal storage and also provide natural privacy between desks. Their clever design, with shelves on one side, a closed panel on the other and a top compartment for small items, makes them highly functional.

• NOVA H manually height-adjustable desks: An investment in employee health and productivity. These ergonomic office desks are easy to adjust to each user’s physical needs, with a height range from 62 to 85 centimeters that encourages changing posture throughout the day.

Effective Meeting Rooms: From Spontaneous Ideas to Strategic Decisions

Today’s workplaces need meeting rooms in different formats, suited both to quick check-ins and to long presentations. The CEWOOD project includes two conference areas with distinct concepts.

Small Meeting Room: For Lively Conversations

Designed for spontaneous brainstorming, short meetings or coffee breaks with clients. The furniture here follows the popular high-seating concept:

• The NOVA high table paired with minimalist WAIT chairs keeps meetings energetic and focused.

• Compact office cabinets keep the necessary documents close at hand.

Large Meeting Room: For Comfort and a Professional Impression

Intended for longer, more formal meetings, where technology integration and seating comfort play a key role:

• The NOVA conference table has discreet metal flaps for cable management, which prevents visual clutter and makes it easy to plug in devices.

• Ergonomic DIVA meeting room chairs with a classic cantilever frame allow relaxed movement during lively discussions and reduce physical fatigue.

• Modular CHOICE office cabinets provide elegant, spacious storage for company materials.
