Project description
SIA “Skanstes City” manages and develops the largest business quarter in Riga, located in the Skanste neighborhood. Its core business is leasing and managing real estate, offering space for offices, conferences and coworking. The quarter is home to more than 60 local and international companies. The company continually invests in improving the quarter, including building upgrades, energy efficiency and a more employee-friendly environment.
The Skanstes City Conference Center brings together conference halls, meeting rooms and a podcast studio. We at THOMSON Furniture were truly delighted to fit out the conference center with furniture from our manufacturers, creating a comfortable and productive work environment for its visitors.

The project features a carefully planned layout that supports different ways of working while ensuring acoustic comfort:
- Formal collaboration: a fully equipped conference hall and several efficient meeting rooms were created for official meetings, important presentations and hosting clients.
- Focus and quiet: quiet rooms fitted with special acoustic elements provide sound insulation and a place for private conversations or work that requires full concentration.
- Relaxation and communication: cozy, functional informal lounge corners furnished with quality sofas and upholstered furniture. These areas give visitors a place to relax, talk informally and network.
The furniture comes from international manufacturers that guarantee ergonomic design, quality and sustainability.
