Acoustics and Ergonomics for Productive Days

Open-plan offices and spacious rooms with large windows have their own distinctive look and plenty of natural light. But this kind of architecture also brings challenges: poor acoustics and background noise that make it hard to concentrate. In the “Melnā Govs” project, this issue was solved in a thoughtful and visually clean way.

Visual Order and Acoustic Comfort

• Noise absorption: To create a quiet, productive workplace, high-quality acoustic screens were fitted to the desks. They absorb sound effectively and give employees the privacy they need, even at the busiest times.

• An airy, organized space: The layout is built around two double desks, each with four workstations, which helps make the best use of the floor plan. To keep the room visually light, desk-mounted document units were chosen instead of bulky drawer pedestals.

Ergonomics as the Basis of Employee Well-Being

With hybrid work and busy schedules now the norm, ergonomic solutions have become a must. The workstations in this project are equipped with EVA 2 ergonomic office chairs. These chairs adjust intuitively to each user’s needs, providing proper body support all day long and significantly reducing physical fatigue.

A Conference Room for In-Depth Discussions and Fresh Ideas

The meeting room is the heart of the company, where decisions are made and long-term partnerships are built. The “Melnā Govs” conference area needed to make a strong impression while staying comfortable for both short daily meetings and strategy sessions that last for hours.

Comfort and Stability During Presentations

• Dynamic seating with GAMA: For long meetings, the ideal choice was GAMA cantilever chairs. Their upholstered seat and back offer excellent comfort, while the flexible cantilever frame helps relieve muscle tension and keeps users alert.

• A symbol of stability, the PLANA conference table: The centerpiece of the room is the clean-lined, sturdy PLANA conference table, which comfortably seats up to 12 people. With its elegant black metal frame, it gives the room a refined and solid look.

• Modern functionality: To make it easy to use devices and presentation equipment, the tabletop has built-in cable ports with discreet covers that keep cables organized and the table free of clutter.

In the “Melnā Govs” executive office, we created a cozy and welcoming meeting corner with the clean-lined AIR table and comfortable GAMA chairs.
