Tetra Pak

Furniture project manager: Artūrs Paļums

A company like Tetra Pak, with its focus on sustainability and green thinking, needs an office that reflects its mission and values. Tetra Pak’s mission is to work for and with its customers to provide the food processing and packaging solutions they need. The company’s core commitment is to innovation and an understanding of consumer needs. Our clients’ needs matter to us too, so in line with Tetra Pak’s goals, their office and its furniture had to be highly functional.

Working with the designer, we fitted out the Tetra Pak office with an open-plan work and lounge area, a reception, two conference rooms and an office kitchen. A nature theme runs through the whole interior. Right from the waiting area, the eye is drawn to wood, used not only for the reception desk but also for decorative details. The furniture was chosen in light shades that make the rooms feel airy and open. The office furniture and finishes selected for the project contrast with the flooring and wall colors. The main accents are a neutral gray, seen in several shades, and an energetic green. Paired with the gray tones, the green brings a lively, uplifting feel.

Every zone has its own purpose, so the office furniture has to fit the job

The work areas feature office furniture from manufacturer Narbutas, including NOVA cabinets, OPTIMA drawer units, tall BOXI drawer units, ONE electric height-adjustable desks and DIVA chairs. With plenty of storage furniture in the mix, the office is highly functional and every employee has a place of their own to keep their things. Between the workstations are two zones that stand out from the rest of the space: an acoustic zone and a lounge. The acoustic zone has one open corner and two enclosed booths for uninterrupted calls, furnished with JAZZ poufs with soft backrests. The lounge has a NOVA Wood high table with TANGO chairs, along with GIRO poufs. A space like this works not only for taking a break but also for quick meetings and brainstorming sessions.

Conference rooms are made for communication, brainstorming and setting team goals. With that in mind, the furniture was chosen to create a space where it’s easy to focus. The conference rooms have large windows and a glass wall, so to prevent echo and absorb unwanted noise, MODUS acoustic panels were installed on the ceiling. They are functional and decorative at the same time. For dynamic meetings, we chose MOON chairs on casters, which make it easy to move around the room and to work in groups of different sizes.
