A modern, adaptable office fit-out for technology company “Regula”

A modern workspace is hard to imagine without flexibility, employee well-being and well-planned ergonomics. In furnishing the office of SIA “Regula”, an international expert in document verification solutions, the THOMSON Furniture team created an attractive, functional and sustainable workspace. The office design and furniture were tailored to the company’s specific field, the way its teams work and its high quality standards.

Interior designer Aina Gudule, the author of the project, worked with our furniture project managers Ilva Beiere and Kristaps Kalniņš to develop a concept that brings together a polished, professional look and high productivity.

A multifunctional meeting room for dynamic collaboration

Meeting rooms are the heart of an office, where ideas are born and strategic decisions are made. In the “Regula” meeting room, the main focus was on mobility and the ability to reconfigure the space, in line with today’s hybrid work trends.

• Mobile conference table with a flip-top surface: This solution offers maximum freedom. The table folds away quickly and compactly, instantly turning the room from a formal meeting space into a large area for corporate events or team-building activities.

• Ergonomic TWIST&SIT conference chairs: Fitted with casters, armrests and height adjustment. They keep people comfortable through long discussions and are easy to move around.

In a dynamic work environment, acoustics matter too. To ensure excellent sound insulation and clear speech in the meeting room, highly sound-absorbing solutions were built in to prevent echo and help people concentrate.

Smart zoning: from productive quiet to shared downtime

Smart zoning is the basis for employee well-being and productivity all day long. The project clearly separates areas for focused work, meetings and informal conversation.

Acoustic solutions for individual focus

The open-plan office is complemented by a premium HUSHPHONE acoustic booth (by Mikomax). Designed for one person, it offers complete privacy and quiet for important phone calls or video conferences.

• Built-in technology: A functional shelf with a power outlet and USB ports, plus smart LED lighting and ventilation that switch on with a motion sensor.

• SWAY active chair: The active chair inside the booth follows the body’s movements, encourages good posture and makes it easy to adjust the seat height.

An inviting, comfortable lounge area

To reinforce the company’s identity, the lounge and co-working areas use furniture and color palettes that match the “Regula” corporate colors:

• SOFT ROCK modular sofa and MOBI side tables: Seating can be freely reconfigured to suit the situation and the number of people.

• NOVA Wood coffee table and TWIST&SIT lounge chairs: This combination brings a touch of nature and warmth into the office. Solid wood details and thoughtful design make it a great spot for informal conversations with clients or a relaxing cup of coffee.
