Kredītinformācijas Birojs (KIB) is a credit bureau that collects, stores and analyzes information on the credit history, financial obligations and payment history of individuals and companies. Its main goal is to help financial institutions, businesses and individuals make informed decisions about lending and partnerships. When AS “Kredītinformācijas Birojs” decided to move to a new office, the goal was clear: to create a space that is not only functional but also inspiring, one that reflects the company’s energy and gives employees the highest level of comfort.
We are proud that AS “Kredītinformācijas Birojs” entrusted the THOMSON Furniture team with the complete delivery of its new office. We provided a full-service approach, from the initial concept and interior design all the way to the final detail.
Thoughtful design
Led by Elēna Melzoba, head of the THOMSON Furniture design department, our team developed a complete interior design that brings aesthetics and functionality together in balance. Our approach focused on creating a complete office ecosystem.
The office is mostly divided into private offices with glass partitions, which provide the necessary privacy while still encouraging openness and collaboration. Ergonomics received special attention in the work areas. Height-adjustable desks with accessories and acoustic screens let employees adapt their workspace to their own needs, reducing noise levels and making it easier to concentrate.
Together with our partners at THOMSON Solutions, we also integrated other elements such as blinds and glass wall graphics, creating a unified, well-planned and consistent overall look.
Ergonomics, well-being and comfort zones
Employee well-being is one of Kredītinformācijas Birojs’ priorities, and it shows in every detail. Workstations are equipped with premium office chairs: Haworth Zody and Interstuhl active office chairs. They provide proper back support and encourage movement even while seated, helping people stay productive and lowering the risk of health problems.
To encourage creativity and relaxation, informal areas were created as well. Profim lounge chairs and Pedrali coffee tables create a cozy atmosphere where employees can meet informally, unwind and share ideas. Meanwhile, LD Seating conference chairs and Inclass conference tables make for an elegant, functional space for meetings and presentations.
Unique solutions and a consistent overall look
One of THOMSON Furniture‘s strengths is the ability to create custom furniture that fits a wide range of spaces. This was especially important in this project: the custom-designed kitchen and cabinetry complement the overall interior, creating a unified, coherent space.
The result is not only visually appealing but also strategically planned. The new office of AS “Kredītinformācijas Birojs” is a great example of how quality design and well-chosen furniture can create an environment that helps a company reach its goals.
