BOTANY: a Nature-Inspired Furniture Collection
The BOTANY collection by NARBUTAS is a nature-inspired design developed in collaboration with a globally recognized architecture and design firm.
Offices are becoming cozier, warmer and more people-centered, reflecting a growing need for comfort, well-being and a connection with nature in the everyday workplace. At the same time, designers are increasingly looking for products that stay relevant for years and are not tied to short-lived design trends.
BOTANY was created in response to these changes. It is not just another furniture collection but a design with a strong character that stays true to the NARBUTAS “nothing superfluous” philosophy. The collection includes:
- conference tables,
- high tables and
- coffee tables, as well as
- visitor chairs,
designed to work together across different spaces and situations. By combining contemporary shapes, functionality and natural materials, BOTANY helps create an inviting, pleasant environment that feels relevant today and holds its value over the long term.
The collection was developed in collaboration with Gensler, a globally recognized architecture and design firm that acted as product design consultant on the project. The partnership brought together Gensler’s international experience in workplace design and its architectural approach with NARBUTAS expertise in furniture manufacturing. The result is a solution shaped by the changing needs of today’s workspaces.
Nature takes the shape of furniture
Drawing on the botanical world, BOTANY turns structures and flowing forms found in nature into sculptural yet balanced furniture. Layered constructions, soft silhouettes and carefully considered details give it a unique identity that feels warm, refined and architectural all at once.
Rather than dominating a room, the collection is designed to blend naturally into a wide range of interiors, helping architects and designers create harmonious spaces with a unified, consistent visual language.
